A Moroccan parliamentary delegation, headed by Mr. Rashid Talbi Alami, Speaker of the House of Representatives, is visiting the Republic of Finland from September 10 to 13, 2025, at the invitation of the Finnish Parliament’s Speaker, Mr. Halla-Aho Jussi Kristian.
The visit aims to strengthen bilateral parliamentary relations between Morocco and Finland, exchange experiences and expertise in various fields, and discuss ways to enhance coordination in international parliamentary forums, while also fostering continuous dialogue and communication between the two legislative institutions, particularly on issues of mutual interest.
This meeting follows Mr. Halla-Aho’s visit to Morocco in May 2024, during which he held parliamentary discussions with the Speaker of the House of Representatives and several Moroccan officials, along with field visits to observe major projects being implemented by the Kingdom under the leadership of King Mohammed VI.
The Moroccan delegation includes Mr. Mohamed Chouki, head of the National Rally of Independents parliamentary group, and Mr. Rashid Hamouni, head of the Progress and Socialism parliamentary group, alongside several members of the House of Representatives.
