The Royal Army… 67 Years of Glory and Championships
Today, the members of the Royal Army Club celebrate the 67th anniversary of its founding. This journey, rich in contributions and achievements, has made it one of the pillars of Moroccan football and the most decorated club in both national and continental competitions.
The club wrote on its official accounts: “On this sixty-seventh anniversary, we proudly recall the shining pages of the history of a prestigious team that has inscribed its name in golden letters in the annals of national sports and immortalized its glory through eternal championships and achievements. This is a moment to celebrate our history and renew our commitment to continue shining and raising the country’s flag high in all sports arenas. Long live the Royal Army.”
The Royal Army is considered one of the most prestigious clubs in Morocco, founded in 1958. It has left a strong mark in the records of the national league, having won 13 titles in the Moroccan league and 12 titles in the Throne Cup. On the continental level, it made history by winning the African Champions League title in 1985, becoming the first Moroccan club to achieve this feat.
Today, “the Leader” continues its quest for the future, persistently making history and determined to strengthen its status as a solid force in Moroccan football, both locally and continentally, while continuing to write new pages of excellence and success.
