The Royal Armed Forces concluded a training course in Salé with AFRICOM on gender-based violence
The Languages School of the Royal Armed Forces in Salé hosted the third phase of a training course on the topic of gender-based violence from September 8 to 12, as part of military cooperation between Morocco and the United States.
This course was facilitated by a mobile training team from the United States Africa Command (AFRICOM), with participation from officers and non-commissioned officers of various branches of the Royal Armed Forces.
The program focused on enhancing knowledge and skills in the prevention and management of gender-based violence according to international standards. This initiative reflects Morocco’s commitment to the Women, Peace, and Security agenda, as well as its support for bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
The course concluded with a ceremony where certificates were awarded to participants, attended by representatives from the General Command of the Royal Armed Forces and the Royal Gendarmerie.
