Qnibla Club President: Promotion to the First Division is This Season’s Goal with a Partnership Plan with Leganés
Hakim Doumo, the president of Qnibla Club, affirmed that the primary goal for the team this season is to compete for one of the spots for promotion to the professional first division. He emphasized the need to mobilize all sports stakeholders in the city, including administrators, former presidents, and fans, to achieve this objective.
Doumo explained in an interview with “Radio Mars” that the club has opened its doors to anyone wishing to offer support or ideas, noting plans for a dinner gathering former presidents and representatives of the “Halala Boys” fan group.
The president revealed a project for a sports academy affiliated with the club, with a formal request submitted to the governor of the Kenitra region and the municipal council for land allocation, in addition to funding requests to the Royal Moroccan Football Federation to ensure the project’s success.
Doumo mentioned the anticipated agreement with the Spanish club Leganés, aimed at benefiting from Spanish training expertise and attracting American investors to financially support the team, asserting that investment has become essential in modern football.
He also praised grassroots initiatives, such as decorating the club’s new bus, and thanked the regional governor, elected councils, and local authorities for their substantial support, urging everyone to rally around the team to restore its rightful place among the elite of the first professional division.
