During the government council meeting on Thursday, September 18, 2025, the council approved Bill No. 87.21 to amend and supplement Laws 103.12 and 40.17. This initiative aims to implement reforms that enhance the role of the regulatory authority overseeing credit institutions, safeguard the stability of the national financial system, and protect depositors in line with international best practices.

The council also approved Draft Decree No. 2.25.431, which modernizes the legal texts related to anti-doping in sports, in response to the royal directives aimed at strengthening the status of Moroccan sports, ensuring the integrity of competitions, and protecting athletes’ health. This will further support the independence of the Moroccan Anti-Doping Agency.
