Regional Coordinator of the National Rally of Independents in Marrakech-Safi, Mohamed Labaj, highlights significant reforms and political stability during the party’s national tour “Path of Achievements.”
Labaj emphasized the government’s results and the transformations the country has witnessed since the 2021 elections, stating that the electoral legitimacy the party obtained has positioned it at the forefront of the Moroccan political scene.
He noted that the assignment by His Majesty the King to form a government under the leadership of Aziz Akhannouch has established a phase of political stability, which is essential for achieving social and economic reforms. Labaj affirmed that genuine democracy can only be fulfilled through tangible results felt by citizens in their daily lives.
He underscored some of these results, such as the expansion of social protection, which now covers one million citizens, and the reform of the education system through innovative schools, teacher qualifications, and enhanced teaching methods. He also pointed to major water management projects aimed at improving water availability for farmers and citizens alike.
The regional coordinator remarked that the government has not limited itself to economic and social projects; it has also focused on combating inequality and enhancing communication with citizens and civil society, thereby strengthening the foundations of democracy and ensuring its sustainability.
Labaj concluded his remarks by stressing that building a sustainable democratic future requires continuous dialogue with citizens, elites, elected officials, and civil society, affirming the party’s commitment to this long-term course.
