Settat: Trial Sessions for the “Son of Ahmad’s Butcher” to Begin
The first sessions of the trial for the “Son of Ahmad’s Butcher” are set to commence on September 17, following the discovery of human remains inside the toilet of the Grand Mosque in the city, before the Settat Criminal Chamber.
Law enforcement had apprehended the accused at the crime scene, leading to his detention following a directive from the public prosecution. Additionally, parts of a second body were found nearby, strengthening the hypothesis of an additional crime being committed.
Security data indicated that searches yielded plastic bags containing human bone fragments within the mosque premises, alongside bladed weapons and suspicious items found in the suspect’s home.
