Morocco Presents Its Vision for Public-Private Partnership at the P3 Summit for Change in New York

The Moroccan model for public-private partnership was showcased as a reference during the P3 Summit for Change, a strategic gathering held on Sunday in New York, just before the high-level week of the 80th United Nations General Assembly.

The meeting witnessed the participation of leaders from major American and international companies, alongside prominent political figures, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the public and private sectors. Among the participants were the presidents of Togo and Sierra Leone, the president of the Confederation of African Football, Patrice Motsepe, and Dara Khosrowshahi, the CEO of Uber.

During the discussions, Morocco’s ambassador to the United States, Youssef Amrani, detailed the specifics of the Moroccan model, which is based on a serious and robust approach, positioning the private sector as a key driver of the national development strategy.

He noted that the structural reforms led by King Mohammed VI have created a conducive framework for cooperation between economic actors and public authorities, which includes attractive tax incentives, competitive hubs, and strong guarantees for protecting investments.

Amrani emphasized that Morocco today represents a natural ground for international companies, due to its stability, political vision, and economic dynamism. He highlighted the kingdom’s strategic location at the crossroads of Africa, Europe, and the Atlantic as an ideal platform for building sustainable partnerships.

The ambassador stated that this experience reflects Morocco’s ability to combine political vision, institutional commitment, and entrepreneurial dynamism to promote inclusive and shared growth.
