More than 40,000 tickets sold for the Morocco vs. Bahrain match
The ticket sales for the friendly match between the Moroccan national team and their Bahraini counterparts, scheduled for Thursday, October 9 at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, starting at 8 PM, have witnessed remarkable public interest. As of six PM yesterday, Monday, 42,703 tickets had been purchased.
The organizing committee expressed its appreciation and gratitude to the fans who rushed to secure their seats from the early hours of the ticket sales, considering this enthusiasm a reflection of the national team’s standing and the strong confidence its supporters have in it.
The committee also urged fans to quickly purchase the remaining tickets before they sell out, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the regulations in place, particularly the requirement for each supporter to hold a ticket for entry to ensure that the match takes place in a civilized and festive atmosphere that befits the reputation of Moroccan football.
This encounter holds significant importance for the Atlas Lions, as it serves as a preparatory step for the African Cup of Nations that Morocco will host at the end of the year, as well as for the Arab Cup in Qatar in 2025. Additionally, it offers an opportunity to test new players and assess their readiness.
The Prince Moulay Abdellah Complex will host this match as its second in the current season, following the previous encounter against Niger, which ended in a clean 5-0 victory, marking the Moroccan team’s official qualification for the 2026 World Cup for the third consecutive time.
In the same context, national coach Walid Regragui is expected to hold a press conference on Thursday, October 2, at the Mohammed VI Football Complex, during which he will announce the list of players called up for the friendly match against Bahrain and the match against Congo in the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
