Kénitra: The Regional Director Inspects the Ibn Khafaja Park Development Project

On Wednesday morning, Abd El Hamid El Mazid, the Regional Director of Kénitra, began a field visit to inspect the Ibn Khafaja Park development project, immediately following his chairing of a comprehensive meeting regarding preparations for the 2025-2026 school year.

Accompanying the regional director on the tour were his office director, the head of the internal affairs department, the city’s chief administrator, the mayor, as well as the municipal engineer supervising the project.

During the visit, the project supervisor provided detailed explanations regarding the development phases, which included the rehabilitation of green spaces, the enhancement of pathways, and the creation of recreational areas for children, all in adherence to modern environmental standards.

Ibn Khafaja Park, known locally as Petit Jardin, serves as a vital green space in the heart of the city. The redevelopment project aims to enhance public spaces and improve the urban landscape of Kénitra through collaboration between the regional authority and the municipal council.
