FIFA President Gianni Infantino today began his activities in Rabat by visiting a coaching workshop for female trainers held at the Mohammed VI Football Complex.
This visit is part of FIFA’s efforts to enhance the skills of female trainers on the African continent, as part of a strategy aimed at strengthening the role of women in football and improving performance at both continental and global levels.
Following this, Infantino held a series of meetings with presidents of football federations from various African countries, including Senegal, South Sudan, Rwanda, Gabon, and Tunisia. Discussions focused on ways to develop football in the continent, support national teams, and enhance the organizational and technical performance of local federations.
These initiatives come at a time when FIFA’s interest in Africa is clearly growing, with training programs and technical support targeting all categories, thereby reinforcing Africa’s position in the global football landscape.
