Opening of the Second National Conference of the Youth of the Authenticity and Modernity Party: Bensaid Emphasizes the Priority of Youth Issues and Constructive Politics
In the opening of the Second National Conference of the Youth Organization of the Authenticity and Modernity Party, Mehdi Bensaid, a member of the party’s collective leadership, emphasized the role of youth in shaping the future of Morocco and the major ideas for political action.
Bensaid welcomed the international delegations participating from Kenya, Congo, Niger, Senegal, Lebanon, and Belgium, along with representatives from the “Liberal International” organization, affirming that their presence reflects that youth issues transcend national borders and have become a global concern based on the values of democracy, freedom, and social justice.
He noted the party’s ongoing support for the Palestinian cause, stating that the struggle for freedom and dignity in Morocco is linked to the Palestinian people’s battle for independence and the establishment of their state with Jerusalem as its capital.
Bensaid asserted that the conference is not merely a competition for positions but a platform to activate political and intellectual depth, to discuss issues of employment, education, and health, and to restore the nobility of politics. He added that the voices of youth must be heard and responded to through attentiveness and responsibility, rather than neglect or fear.
He concluded by stating that the conference represents a message of hope, confirming the youth’s ability to transform protest into projects and despair into organized collective action, calling for the establishment of a party close to the people, sincere in its discourse, and innovative in its political and social approaches.
