Fire Claims Two Lives in “Moulay Azzouz Al-Malik” Shantytown in Marrakesh
In the early hours of Monday, a fire broke out in the “Moulay Azzouz Al-Malik” neighborhood, part of the northern administrative district of Marrakesh, claiming the lives of two individuals and destroying five shacks in the area.
According to local authorities in the Marrakesh-Safi region, the fire started around 5:30 AM. Emergency services, along with local officials and police, promptly intervened. The firefighting teams were able to control the blaze and take the necessary measures.
