Casablanca to Host MEAM Exhibition for Electric Vehicles and Aftermarket Services
From September 16 to 18, Casablanca will transform into a prominent regional hub for electric vehicles and related professions, hosting the MEAM 2025 Exhibition at the Office des Foires et Expositions de Casablanca (OFEC). This event is organized by Global Fairs & Events and the Moroccan Association for the Promotion of Electric Vehicles, under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The exhibition will bring together key players in the automotive sector aiming for a transition towards a more sustainable and smart economy. It aspires to connect manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, institutions, training centers, and experts around the challenges of energy transition. It will also provide a platform for networking and partnerships, featuring a rich program of technical and scientific content aimed at promoting innovation, training, and supporting economic growth.
This year’s edition focuses on training independent professionals in the repair and maintenance of cars to meet the new demands associated with electric and hybrid vehicles. Participants will benefit from accredited courses led by global experts and suppliers, learning about electronic diagnostic techniques, safety standards during interventions, and necessary workshop adjustments in accordance with international standards.
The exhibition will also offer an interactive space to experience electric bikes and motorcycles, alongside a series of conferences, workshops, and live demonstrations covering the latest innovations in battery technology, charging infrastructures, sustainable mobility solutions for smart cities, and advanced maintenance methods.
Through this initiative, the Association for the Promotion of Electric Vehicles (APIME) reaffirms its role as a key player in building a national and African ecosystem for electric vehicles, supported by a long-term strategic vision and in partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The exhibition is expected to be a catalyst for technological innovation, skill development, and the opening of promising economic horizons for the automotive industry in Morocco and the continent.
