Automotive Exhibition 2025: Expected to Welcome 50,000 Visitors to Discover 70 Electric and Hybrid Models
Follow-up
In its inaugural edition dedicated exclusively to hybrid and electric vehicles, the Moroccan Association of Automobile Importers (AIVAM), led by Abdel Wahab El Nasri, emphasized the diversity of offerings and its clear desire to make this technology accessible to the public.
Unlike previous editions, this exhibition focused solely on alternative engines. Abdel Wahab El Nasri stated, “This technology has been present in Morocco for about ten years, but customers have remained hesitant, and the offerings were not genuinely diverse.”
This year, around 30 brands will showcase approximately 70 models of hybrid and electric vehicles, ranging from compact cars to luxury models. Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with sales representatives and technical experts to better understand the features of this technology and learn about the warranties and economic benefits it offers.
The exhibition’s goals go beyond mere display, aiming to simplify the use of these engines and reassure the public. The association president remarked, “These cars are not only environmentally friendly but also allow for savings compared to traditional engines.”
Regarding the expected number of visitors, estimates indicate that this specialized edition will attract at least 50,000 attendees, a realistic figure considering the objective nature of the exhibition, while previous editions drew between 150,000 and 200,000 visitors.
