Aziz Akhannouch Visits the Douars of Al-Haouz to Assess Conditions of Earthquake Victims and Monitor Reconstruction Projects
On Saturday, the Head of Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, conducted a field visit to the Douars of the Al-Haouz region, marked by a departure from official protocol. The purpose of this visit was to gain firsthand insight into the conditions of citizens affected by the earthquake, following the completion of resettlement operations and the monitoring of development projects and essential services.
During the visit, the Head of Government met with several citizens, who seized the opportunity to express their daily concerns and demands. At the same time, they conveyed their appreciation for the direct royal oversight of reconstruction projects, which have included providing dignified housing that respects the dignity of affected families, along with comprehensive health and educational services.

He emphasized the government’s commitment to support the agricultural sector and enhance rural development.
During a tea session with several residents, they discussed the obstacles to local development and ways to enhance citizen participation in the developmental projects unfolding in the area. They highlighted the positive impact of royal initiatives, particularly social protection programs, on their daily lives and living standards.
