Press Release: Opening of New Applications for the “Stadium Card” for the 2024-2025 Sports Season

On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, the Sports Press Pole of the National Association of Media and Publishers announced that the current Stadium Card for the 2024-2025 sports season will remain valid until the issuance of the new card for 2026, as it is the only authorized means of access to stadiums during national league matches and the Throne Cup.

The announcement clarified that journalists, photographers, and correspondents who do not yet possess a Stadium Card can submit their applications for it in its current form between September 11 and 18, allowing them to cover national football competitions until the new card is issued.

For professional journalists and photographers, the application must include the following documents:

  • The National Press Council Card for 2025.
  • Accreditation from the media organization.
  • A recent personal photo.

As for correspondents and freelance photographers, the required documents are:

  • A certificate of employment as a correspondent or collaborator.
  • Accreditation from the media organization, signed and stamped.
  • A signed and stamped declaration of honor from the director of the organization.
  • A certificate of wage declaration with the National Social Security Fund or a self-employed certificate.
  • A biometric national identity card.
  • A recent personal photo.
