A religious ceremony was held in Kenitra this Thursday evening in celebration of the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad’s birth, taking place at the Lalla Khadija Mosque.

The event was presided over by the Governor of Kenitra, Abdellah El Mazid, alongside the President of the Scientific Council, Younes Sebari, as well as representatives from the Kenitra municipality, the provincial council, various external services, and civil and military figures.

The ceremony included the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and the performance of prophetic praises and Sufi chants, creating a spiritual atmosphere marked by tranquility and reverence immediately following the Maghrib prayer.

These celebrations coincided with a spiritual ambiance that enveloped various mosques and zawiya in the city, which remained open to worshippers and visitors until late at night, in line with the long-standing traditions of Kenitra’s residents in commemorating this occasion.
