The General Directorate of Meteorology has announced the expectation of a heat wave along with ‘Sahrqi’ winds, in addition to thunder showers accompanied by hail and gusty winds, starting from this Monday until Wednesday in various regions of the kingdom.

In an orange advisory bulletin, the Directorate indicated that the thunder showers accompanied by hail and winds will affect the provinces of Al Haouz, Ouarzazate, and Taroudant, with rainfall amounts ranging between 20 and 40 mm during the period from 3 PM until 11 PM today, Monday.

The source also added that the heat wave with ‘Sahrqi’ winds will record temperatures ranging between 44 and 47 degrees in the provinces of Tata, Assa-Zag, Smara, Boujdour, Laayoune, and Oued Ed-Dahab.

Additionally, the Directorate forecasts temperatures between 39 and 44 degrees in other regions of the kingdom, including the provinces of Al Hoceima, Tetouan, M’diq-Fnideq, Taroudant, Fes, Berkane, Jerrada, Nador, Driouch, Chefchaouen, Larache, Wazan, Moulay Yacoub, Fes, Taounate, Meknes, Sidi Kassem, Sidi Slimane, Benslimane, Khmisat, Khouribga, Khenifra, Sefrou, El Hajeb, Taza, Azilal, Beni Mellal, Fkih Ben Salah, Settat, Rhamna, Marrakech, Youssoufia, Qalaat al-Sraghna, Al Haouz, Essaouira, Chichaoua, Taroudant, and Guelmim.
