The security department in Agadir clarified the reality behind a video circulating on social media, which shows a group of people throwing stones, along with claims of the involvement of a criminal gang in the city of Taroudant.
The investigations conducted revealed that the incident is the subject of a judicial inquiry currently underway by the regional security department in Taroudant. It pertains to a driver who entered into a dispute with a girl he had a previous relationship with, forcing her to get into the car using violence. During this altercation, three individuals riding a tricycle intervened to stop him and threw stones at him, as shown in the circulating video.
The identities of the driver and the girl have been established, and they have been apprehended, along with those involved in the stone-throwing and the individual who recorded the video. Investigations are ongoing to arrest all parties involved.
The arrested individuals are currently undergoing judicial procedures under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office to unveil all the circumstances and details of the incident.
