The second day of the Kenitra Festival attracted over 260,000 spectators

The events of the first edition of the Kenitra Festival continued on the evening of Sunday, August 24, 2025, with a record attendance exceeding 260,000, according to official figures.

The evening began with the popular artist Farid Al-Kenitri, who revived the classics of the West with a series of traditional songs, most notably “Fatina Ya Fatina,” which was echoed by a collective and emotional crowd of those who grew up in the ’80s and ’90s.

He was followed by the popular singer Adel Al-Meloudi, who animated the audience with widely engaging folk songs, turning the train station square into an open space for singing and group dancing.

The show concluded with the performance of the grand TOTO, who ignited the stage with an interactive show that lasted a full hour amid continuous cheers and applause.

In terms of organization, security authorities succeeded in ensuring smooth conditions despite the large numbers, supported by civil protection teams and the Moroccan Red Crescent, which intervened to provide first aid and transport a limited number of fainting cases to the hospital.

Organizers considered this massive turnout to solidify the festival’s status as a promising artistic event capable of enhancing the city’s cultural and tourism profile, revitalizing the local economy through attracting visitors and hospitality services.
