– An additional holiday from May 3 to May 10, 2026.

In addition to these breaks, the schedule includes celebratory days related to national events such as the Green March anniversary (November 6), Independence Day (November 18), and the presentation of the Independence Document (January 11). The schedule also includes the Amazigh New Year holiday (January 14).

Religious occasions will be determined based on the lunar calendar, including the Prophet’s birthday expected in September 2025, Eid al-Fitr occurring between March 19 and March 22, 2026, Eid al-Adha anticipated in late May 2026, and the Islamic New Year (Ashura) in mid-June.

According to the ministry, this calendar aims to ensure a balanced distribution between study periods and holidays, allowing students, their families, and educational staff to better plan their academic and family activities.
