The Royal Moroccan Football Federation has allocated a financial grant of 200,000 dirhams to each player of the Moroccan local national team, following the team’s advancement to the semi-finals of the African Nations Championship (CHAN).

This decision is intended to motivate the players to continue performing at their best and to compete fiercely for the title after their victory against Tanzania, which they clinched with a 1-0 scoreline thanks to a goal from Osama Al-Malawi in the quarter-final match held at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam before an audience of approximately 60,000 spectators.

The Moroccan national team is preparing to face the winner of the match between Uganda and Senegal in the semi-finals, scheduled for Wednesday, August 26, at the Mandela National Stadium in Uganda, as they aim to win the African Nations Championship for the third time in Morocco’s history.

The grant reflects the federation’s commitment to supporting its players and encouraging them to go far in the competition and achieve a new milestone for Moroccan football.
