Slight Increase: Recent Rains Revitalize Reservoir Levels

Recent rainfall has led to a slight improvement in the reservoirs of several dams across the country within the last twenty-four hours, benefiting from precipitation in various regions.

This improvement is reflected in the increase of water resources in several dams distributed across different provinces.

In the province of Sefrou, the water level of the Alal Al-Fassi dam rose by approximately 0.36 million cubic meters, reaching a filling level of around 97.5 percent. Meanwhile, in the province of Settat, the Dourates dam recorded an increase of 0.64 million cubic meters, pushing its filling percentage to 46.4 percent. The Qansara dam in the province of Khémisset saw the largest recorded rise of 2.74 million cubic meters, bringing its filling percentage to 27.3 percent.

The water resources at the Timinin dam in the province of Azilal increased by 0.05 million cubic meters, with a filling percentage of 68.9 percent. The Oulmes dam in Taroudant province noted an increase of 0.17 million cubic meters, resulting in a filling rate of 47.1 percent. In the province of Beni Mellal, the Ahmed El-Hansali dam’s water level rose by 0.37 million cubic meters, stabilizing its filling percentage at 15.2 percent.

This slight improvement reflects the positive impact of recent rainfall on national water storage, contributing to the enhancement of water resources in several areas.
