French Group “Safran” Achieves Strong Performance in the First Half of 2025 and Raises Annual Forecasts
The French industrial and technological group “Safran” has revealed strong financial results for the first half of 2025, recording a revenue of €14.77 billion, an increase of 13.2% compared to the same period in 2024.
In a statement issued today, Monday, the group noted that its operating income rose to €2.51 billion, representing a growth of 27.2%, driven by increased sales and higher activity in after-sales services. As a result, the operating margin improved to 17% of revenue, up from 15.1% the previous year.
The net income reached €1.59 billion, marking an 11% increase compared to the first half of 2024, during which a net profit of €1.43 billion was recorded.
In light of these positive indicators, “Safran” announced a revision of its annual forecasts upwards, now expecting revenue growth to range between 10% and 12%, compared to previous estimates of around 10%.
The group also raised its estimates for ongoing operating profit to between €5 billion and €5.1 billion, up from previous projections of €4.8 billion to €4.9 billion, while free cash flow is expected to range between €3.4 billion and €3.6 billion, compared to initial estimates of €3 billion to €3.2 billion.
Safran’s CEO, Olivier Andriès, emphasized that these results reflect the robustness of the group’s financial performance, stating: “These strong results allow us to raise our annual forecasts and reinforce our confidence in our medium-term trajectory.”
