Russian forces have launched a significant offensive, successfully taking control of the town of Kamenchyva in the Donetsk region, marking notable advancements on several fronts and inflicting heavy losses on the Ukrainian army.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated in an official announcement that the attack utilized precision ground, aerial, and naval weapons, along with unmanned aerial vehicles, specifically targeting Ukrainian missile and aviation manufacturing companies and military airports.
The statement confirmed that units from the “East” group were able to liberate Kamenchyva in the Donetsk People’s Republic, while units from the “North” group conducted strikes against various Ukrainian formations in Kreinedivka, Kondratovka, Lenin’skoye, Alexeyevka, and Yunakivka in the Sumy region.
This development occurs amid the ongoing escalation of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, which has seen continuous military confrontations between the two sides in various areas.
