Morocco qualifies for the semi-finals of the “CHAN” after a hard-fought victory over Tanzania

The Moroccan national team for local players secured its spot in the semi-finals of the Africa Nations Championship following a well-deserved victory against Tanzania, winning 1-0 in a match held on Friday evening at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam, as part of the quarter-finals.

The first half of the match witnessed intense competition from both sides, with both teams exchanging opportunities but failing to find the back of the net, ending the half in a goalless draw. At the start of the second half, player Osama Lamri managed to break through the Tanzanian defense and score the winning goal in the 65th minute, granting a ticket to the “Atlas Lions.”

Morocco will face the winner of the match between Uganda and Senegal in the semi-finals, scheduled for Saturday at 3 PM.
