Morocco continues to deliver aid to Gaza with precision and effectiveness, and sources deny rumors of “aerial drops.”

After videos circulated on social media showing planes dropping aid from the air, accompanied by headlines suggesting that Morocco was air-dropping its humanitarian assistance over the Gaza Strip, informed sources have firmly refuted these claims.

The same sources, as reported by media outlets, confirmed that Moroccan aid was not sent by air at all, but rather reached the Gaza Strip through land crossings, following a precise coordination process executed in three phases.

According to available information, the first shipment of aid arrived on Saturday, followed by the second shipment on Sunday. The third shipment, primarily consisting of medicines and medical supplies, arrived today, Monday, at the warehouses of the Red Crescent within the sector, under organized and secure conditions.

The sources added that the distribution of the third shipment will start this evening, focusing on hospitals and healthcare centers facing dire humanitarian situations. They emphasized that this initiative reflects the Kingdom’s unwavering commitment to supporting the Palestinian people during this critical phase.

A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates indicated that King Mohammed VI, the Chairman of the Jerusalem Committee, has given his high instructions for sending urgent humanitarian and medical assistance to the residents of Gaza.

This aid includes around 180 tons of essential food items, milk, materials specifically for children, as well as medicines, surgical equipment, blankets, tents, and other supplies aimed at the most vulnerable groups within the sector.

The Moroccan initiative, according to official sources, reflects Morocco’s tangible and ongoing solidarity and embodies King Mohammed VI’s steadfast commitment to the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people.
