Leicester City coach Martin Seiwents has stated that the rumors surrounding the future of Moroccan international Bilal Khennous remain speculative and linked to the transfer market, especially with discussions about a possible move to Crystal Palace.
During a press conference held on Thursday, Seiwents explained that such rumors are typical during this time of year, saying: “It is expected that discussions about our players will intensify because they are performing well, which doesn’t surprise me at all.”
The Spanish coach added: “We are in the final days of the transfer window, and it’s normal for the talk of potential transfers to increase. However, the truth is that Bilal Khennous is currently a player with us, and he is a valuable asset, so I don’t see any reason to discuss further details.”
Regarding the potential departure of some players before the market closes, Seiwents emphasized that the club’s interests remain a priority, clarifying: “If we feel that one of the players leaving serves the team’s long-term project, we will handle it and immediately look for a replacement that can enhance our squad.”
He concluded by stating, “As of now, there’s nothing official, and everything being circulated remains mere speculation.”
