The Royal Moroccan Football Federation announced on Sunday the departure of player Abdelhak Ahsal from the national team’s camp participating in the African Nations Championship, hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
The federation confirmed that Ahsal had to return to Morocco for additional medical examinations after suffering an injury during the match against Zambia last Thursday in Kenya.
This unfortunate development means that Ahsal’s journey with the national team in the tournament has come to an early end due to injury.
