Akhannouch condemns hostile campaigns against symbols of Moroccan sovereignty and calls for the strengthening of national unity.
The Prime Minister, Aziz Akhannouch, denounced the anti-Moroccan campaigns targeting symbols of national sovereignty and the reputation of Moroccan institutions, describing them as organized and unobjective. He reaffirmed that these attempts will not weaken Morocco’s determination to defend its institutions and protect its international image.
This statement was made during a meeting of the political bureau of the National Rally of Independents party on Thursday in Rabat, where Akhannouch emphasized that these maneuvers will not affect the strong relationship between the Moroccan people and the King, nor will they stop the development drive led by King Mohammed VI.
The Prime Minister called for mobilization, vigilance, and the strengthening of national cohesion to confront any attempts to undermine institutions or national constants.
The political bureau also praised the King’s humanitarian initiatives, particularly the sending of aid to the residents of Gaza, and approved his proposals regarding the preparation for the upcoming legislative elections, placing the draft budget for 2026 among the priorities of the political agenda.
