The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today that it has made new territorial gains in eastern Ukraine, having liberated two towns in the Donetsk Republic and Kharkiv Oblast, while Russian forces continue their advance in Sumy Oblast as part of the ongoing military operation.

In its daily statement, the ministry reported that the “North” forces strengthened their positions in Sumy Oblast and liberated the town of Milove in Kharkiv, inflicting losses on the Ukrainian army totaling 240 soldiers, as well as destroying vehicles, artillery, and an ammunition depot.

Meanwhile, the “West” forces achieved progress in both Kharkiv and Donetsk, resulting in the deaths of 230 Ukrainian military personnel and the destruction of equipment, including an electronic warfare station.

The “South” forces improved their positioning in Donetsk, causing 140 casualties among Ukrainian troops, while the “Center” forces liberated the town of Razino in the same area after battles that left 440 Ukrainian soldiers dead.

In a similar vein, the “East” forces continued their advance in Donetsk, inflicting 180 fatalities, while the “Dnieper” division maintained its push in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Oblasts, causing 75 Ukrainian casualties along with equipment and ammunition losses.

The Russian Ministry of Defense highlighted that precise strikes targeted military positions, drone assembly centers, and ammunition warehouses. Additionally, a drone boat was destroyed in the Black Sea, and 8 American “JDAM” guided bombs along with 169 drones were shot down in the past 24 hours.
