King Mohammed VI has confirmed that the upcoming legislative elections will take place on schedule, emphasizing the need to secure the appropriate legal and political framework for this event before the end of the current year. In this regard, he called for the adoption of the system governing the electoral process as soon as possible, ensuring transparency, competitiveness, and credibility.
His Majesty has also directed the Minister of Interior to prepare effectively for this political milestone, urging wide consultations with various stakeholders, including parties and relevant institutions, to guarantee conditions for effective and fair participation that bolster the democratic path of the Kingdom.
This guidance reflects the monarchy’s commitment to the stability of the political transition and ensuring the normal functioning of constitutional mechanisms, especially during a critical period marked by significant developmental and economic changes in Morocco.
