King Addresses Moroccan People and Chairs Throne Day Celebrations

The Ministry of Royal Palaces, Decorations, and Honors has announced that King Mohammed VI will deliver a royal address to the Moroccan people this evening, Tuesday, July 29, 2025, as part of the celebrations marking the 26th anniversary of his ascension to the throne.

The royal speech, which is in keeping with his Majesty’s tradition during such national occasions, will be broadcast starting at 9 PM on national radio and television.

Additionally, His Majesty will preside over an official reception on Wednesday, July 30, at the Moulay El Hassan Square in the city of M’diq. The following day, Thursday, July 31, will see the swearing-in ceremony of newly graduated officers from military, paramilitary, and civilian schools, taking place at the Mechouar square of the royal palace in Tetouan, in the presence of the Supreme Commander and Chief of Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.

On the same day, a formal lunch will be organized at the Royal Guard Club in Tetouan, ordered by His Majesty.

The official celebrations will conclude with a loyalty ceremony chaired by His Majesty on Thursday afternoon at the Mechouar square of the royal palace in Tetouan, reflecting the deep historical ties between the throne and the people.
