Departure of White Opens Door for Khnous at Nottingham
Nottingham Forest is eyeing the reinforcement of its midfield in anticipation of Morgan Gibbs-White’s departure by seeking a suitable replacement during the current summer transfer window.
According to “Football Insider,” the English club is considering a move for Moroccan international Bilal Khnous, a Leicester City player, as a potential substitute for Gibbs-White.
The source noted that Khnous boasts individual skills and dribbling abilities similar to those of the English player, in addition to great potential for improvement in his technical performance.
Tottenham had made an offer of £60 million to sign Gibbs-White, activating the release clause in his contract. However, negotiations stalled after Nottingham Forest accused their London counterparts of negotiating with the player in an illegal manner, according to the same report.
