European clubs continue to show interest in Real Betis star Abdel Samad Zlalzouli.

Moroccan Abdel Samad Zlalzouli, a player for Spanish club Real Betis, is catching the attention of numerous European clubs during the current summer transfer window.

According to Spanish newspaper “Estadio Deportivo,” AS Roma has joined the list of clubs interested in the player, alongside teams such as Sporting Lisbon, AC Milan, RB Leipzig, Everton, Fulham, Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth, as well as Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad and Italian side Como.

Roma sees Zlalzouli as a fitting option for their coach Gian Piero Gasperini’s style; however, securing his transfer depends on his recovery from the injury he sustained in the Conference League final against Chelsea last May, which prevented him from traveling with the team to their training camp in Germany. The player is currently undergoing individual training in Seville as he prepares to return to the pitch.

Sources confirmed that Zlalzouli’s agent has received many inquiries about the player, but Real Betis is not willing to let him go for less than €20 million and prefers to wait until he regains full fitness to enhance his market value.

It is worth noting that AS Roma has bolstered its squad this summer by signing Moroccan Naïl El Aynaoui from French club Lens on a five-year contract, reflecting the club’s commitment to strengthening its Moroccan presence in the team.
