Berkan Prepares to Host the Sixth National Festival of Moroccans Abroad
The city of Berkan will host the sixth edition of the National Festival of Moroccans Abroad from July 25 to 27, 2025. The event is organized by Al-Ysir Association for Sustainable Development in partnership with the Association of Moroccan Elected Officials in France and the POSITIVE Association, with support from public institutions and government sectors, in coordination with the Berkan provincial administration.
The festival will be held under the theme “Moroccans Abroad: Radiating the Kingdom and Building Bridges for Development and Investment,” in line with royal directives calling for the mobilization of Moroccan talents living abroad and enhancing their contributions to development and investment projects in the Kingdom.
Activities will take place at the National School of Artificial Intelligence and the conference hall of the agricultural hub, featuring institutional meetings, seminars, and workshops, along with cultural and artistic events.
This edition will see the participation of numerous Moroccan experts residing in various countries, including France, Italy, Germany, the United States, and the United Kingdom, who have gained experience in various fields such as science, economics, and diplomacy.
According to the organizers, the festival aims to provide a platform for dialogue between Moroccans from both the homeland and abroad, stimulate investment, facilitate access to public services, and enhance communication with national administrations.
The festival will be officially opened on Friday, July 25, attended by official figures, representatives of elected institutions, public administrations, civil society, and media representatives.
The program will also include the launch of a training session for local elected officials, the organization of cultural exhibitions, and the signing of three partnership and collaboration agreements.
