Tangier Hosts the Final Stage of the International “WTT M15” Tennis Tournament with Broad International Participation
Match play for the final stage of the International “WTT M15” tennis tournament kicked off yesterday, Wednesday, in Tangier, organized by the Tangier Municipal Club under the supervision of the Royal Moroccan Tennis Federation and the International Tennis Federation.
This stage features 32 players, including 9 who qualified from the qualifying rounds held from Sunday to Tuesday, while 24 others are participating thanks to their international ranking or wildcards. Morocco is represented by eight young players, including Amin Jamji, Reda Benani, Adam Bouyakoub, Yassine Dlimi, Walid Ahouda, Hamza El Amini, Taha Baaydi, and Younes Alami Al Arusi.
The qualifying rounds saw four players from Italy—Leonardo Catanio, Nicolo Tofanini, Maximilian Weigl, and Lorenzo Comun—advance, alongside three French players—Dorian Tremblay, Lenny Bouty, and Benjamin Martin—as well as Spanish player David Najaro and Argentine Lucio Pati.
Other participants come from countries such as France, Spain, Argentina, Brazil, the Netherlands, Slovenia, and Switzerland, reflecting the significant international character of this sporting event, which is being held in Tangier for the third consecutive year.
The total prize money for the tournament is 15,000 dollars, with the singles final scheduled for next Sunday, while the doubles final will take place on Saturday, featuring 16 pairs.
