Sidi Bernoussi Hosts the Round of 16 and Quarter-Finals of the Moroccan Championship for Young Women and Women in Boxing

The covered sports hall in Sidi Bernoussi, Casablanca, will host the round of 16 and quarter-finals of the Moroccan championship for young women and women in boxing from July 10 to July 13, 2025, as part of the 2024-2025 sports season.

This national sports event is organized by the Royal Moroccan Boxing Federation as part of its annual program, continuously seeking through the technical administration to discover new talents capable of strengthening the national teams, in addition to promoting women’s boxing nationally.

This sporting event will see the participation of various regional leagues, primarily the Casablanca-Settat League, the Southern Regions League, the Souss-Massa League, and the Marrakech-Safi League. Intense competition is expected as the athletes vie for spots in the semi-finals and the final, marking an important step in their sports careers.

The draw for the matches will take place on Thursday, July 10, at 8 PM, in the presence of representatives from the participating leagues. Weigh-ins and medical examinations will occur on July 11, 12, and 13, between 8 AM and 10 AM. The matches will be conducted in two sessions daily, with the morning session starting at noon and the second session beginning at 3 PM.

It is anticipated that this event will attract a notable audience of boxing enthusiasts, given the expected level of competition and the high stakes associated with this pivotal date in the calendar of national women’s boxing.
