- in Sports

Reports indicate that Wydad Athletic Club has prioritized the return of Yahya Attiat Allah during the current summer transfer window, as the club seeks to reacquire him after his loan period at Al Ahly of Egypt has concluded.

According to the same sources, Wydad has made a formal offer to Russian club Sochi worth $450,000 to purchase the player’s contract, and is currently awaiting a final response from the Russian side regarding the deal.

Attiat Allah returned to his Russian team after his stint with Al Ahly, which opted not to activate the purchase clause in his contract, thereby opening the door for a potential return to the Moroccan league via Wydad.

Reports also suggest that the club aims to finalize all its transactions before heading to Turkey for a closed training camp in preparation for the upcoming season, followed by a trip to Qatar on August 7 to play a friendly match against Al Sadd on the 10th of the same month.

In this context, reports have revealed that Wydad is close to signing Yahya Jibran, Abdellah Himoud, and Walid Sabbar, in addition to bolstering their squad this summer with several notable names, including Brazilian Guilermo Ferreira, Dutch Bart, and Moroccan international Nordin Amrabat.
