The Casablanca Stock Exchange began trading on Tuesday with an upward trend, as its main index, the “MASI,” rose by 0.33 percent, settling at 18,357.88 points.
The “MASI.20” index, which reflects the performance of 20 listed companies, recorded an increase of 0.38 percent to reach 1,502.00 points, while the MASI.ESG index, representing the top-rated companies, experienced a slight decline of 0.02 percent, settling at 1,267.98 points.
Similarly, the “MASI Mid and Small Cap” index, which measures the performance of small and medium-sized listed companies, advanced by 0.41 percent to 1,777.10 points.
The MASI index had concluded Monday’s trading with a loss of 0.97 percent.
