The General Directorate of National Security announced on Wednesday, July 9, a series of new appointments to leadership positions across various decentralized services in cities including Oujda, Khemisset, Errachidia, Rabat, Tiznit Boubker, Marrakech, Wislan, and Casablanca.

These appointments, approved by the Director General of National Security, Abdellatif Hammouchi, align with a strategy to rotate positions of responsibility and open opportunities for both experienced and young security talents to take on field management roles.

The appointments encompass 11 positions, including the appointment of a Deputy Regional Security Chief in Oujda, three heads of police districts in Khemisset, Rabat, and Casablanca, as well as a head of the traffic accident department in Khemisset, a head of the judicial police in Wislan, and a head of an administrative unit belonging to a security region in the Casablanca region.

Additionally, a head of the urban authority in Tiznit Boubker was appointed, along with two heads of traffic police units in Errachidia and Marrakech, and a head of a mobile unit for maintaining order in Oujda.

This movement is part of an ongoing dynamic aimed at enhancing the efficiency and productivity of human resources and entrenching the principle of positional rotation, by assigning security management tasks to qualified personnel capable of executing action plans designed to bolster public safety and protect citizens and their property.
