King Mohammed VI Delivers Throne Speech and Presides Over 26th Throne Anniversary Celebrations
The Ministry of Royal Palaces, Honors, and Decorations has announced that King Mohammed VI will deliver a royal address to the Moroccan people this evening, Tuesday, July 29, 2025, marking the 26th anniversary of his ascension to the throne. The speech will be broadcast live on radio and television starting at 9 PM.
This royal speech is a central part of the official celebrations for Throne Day, which will continue for two days with several ceremonies presided over by His Majesty personally.
In this context, King Mohammed VI will host an official reception on Wednesday, July 30, at the Municipal Square of Mdiq-Fnideq, attended by civil and military dignitaries.
On Thursday, July 31, a prominent event will take place as His Majesty, the Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, will preside over the swearing-in ceremony of new graduate officers from various military, paramilitary, and civilian schools at the Royal Palace grounds in Tétouan.
In connection with this occasion, and following the King’s directives, the High Command of the Royal Armed Forces will host a luncheon in honor of guests and officials at the Royal Guard Club in Tétouan.
To conclude the anniversary festivities, King Mohammed VI will preside over the loyalty ceremony that will be held in the Royal Palace grounds in Tétouan, symbolizing the strong bonds between the throne and the people.
