His Majesty the King congratulates the President of the Republic of Burundi on the anniversary of his country’s independence
His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Burundi, Mr. Évariste Ndayishimiye, on the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of his country’s independence.
In this message, His Majesty expressed his warmest congratulations to President Évariste Ndayishimiye, along with his sincere wishes for progress and prosperity for him and the people of Burundi.
Moreover, His Majesty stated in his message, “I take this opportunity to commend the strong dynamism that has characterized the close cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Burundi, affirming to Your Excellency my steadfast commitment to work together with you to strengthen this relationship both at the bilateral and continental levels.”
His Majesty added, “While I express my hope that the strong ties that unite our two countries, based on friendship, solidarity, and mutual respect, will be further strengthened, I ask you, Dear President and my esteemed brother, to accept my highest expressions of appreciation.”
