Hamza Ighamane Approaches Ligue 1: A Deal Awaiting Final Touches
Moroccan international Hamza Ighamane has reached a final agreement with French club Lille regarding the details of his personal contract last Friday, bringing him closer to embarking on a new professional experience in Ligue 1.
Express TV has learned that the player is expected to travel to Scotland next Wednesday to complete the necessary administrative procedures, paving the way for his official transfer. Afterward, he will head to France for a routine medical examination, marking the final step before officially signing with Lille.
On the legal front, procedures related to the three-party contract have commenced, with lawyers from both Lille and Rangers exchanging necessary documents to activate the clause for the release fee, set at 10 million euros.
It is worth noting that the Royal Army Club, for which Ighamane previously played, will benefit from a percentage of the future transfer fee, as stipulated in a clause included in his prior transfer to Rangers.
