The Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works of National Security Employees has started distributing an exceptional financial grant for the benefit of widows and retirees of the security services, who are facing difficult living conditions.
This assistance targets widows receiving a pension of no more than 2,000 dirhams per month, as well as retirees whose monthly pension does not exceed 2,500 dirhams. The number of beneficiaries from this initiative has reached 4,226 widows and 572 retirees.
This move is part of the implementation of directives from the Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Abdelatif Hammouchi, aimed at improving the social conditions of the national security family and expanding the base of beneficiaries from support and solidarity programs.
To ensure the smooth disbursement of this aid, coordination has been established with the Moroccan Pension Fund to transfer the grant directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries, starting Wednesday, July 9.
In the same vein, the Mohammed VI Foundation is continuing to assess files for a new batch of widows and retirees who meet the criteria for assistance, with plans to schedule the transfer of the second batch at the earliest convenience.
This initiative reflects the General Directorate of National Security’s commitment to fulfilling its social obligations towards the widows and retirees of the agency, supporting their economic stability and enhancing solidarity within the security family.
