Barada: The printing of baccalaureate certificates at the currency house prevents forgery, and digitalization has facilitated procedures

Mohamed Saad Barada, Minister of National Education, Preschool Education, and Sports, affirmed that printing baccalaureate certificates at the currency house has significantly contributed to preventing their forgery, emphasizing that digitalization played a crucial role in the success of the regular session of the national unified baccalaureate exam for June 2025.

During a question-and-answer session at the House of Representatives on Monday, Barada explained that various stages of the exams underwent comprehensive digitalization, starting from candidate invitations, through electronic secret numbering, to the announcement of results and the issuance of certificates.

The minister added that the process of announcing results was unprecedented in speed and efficiency, as 450,000 emails were sent just twenty minutes after midnight on the announcement day, with candidates opening over 380,000 messages within the same period. Students received results for all subjects and their overall grades within half an hour.

Barada noted that all successful candidates received their baccalaureate certificates via email just two days after the results were announced, allowing them to easily download the required documents and begin registration at universities both domestically and abroad.

Regarding preschool education, the minister declared that the coverage rate had reached 83%, with a gradual goal of reaching 100% through improving the quality of content and educational practices.

He also revealed that 50% of preschool institutions would join the "Schools of Leadership" network in the upcoming school year, an initiative aimed at enhancing quality and oversight within the educational system. Additionally, 30% of middle school institutions would also join this network during the same period, with the percentage of preschool institutions in the "Leadership Network" expected to rise to 70% by September 2026, compared to 50% in middle schools.
