Ain Diab: Authorities Inform Random Beneficiaries of the End of “Anarchy”

This summer will be the last chance for random beneficiaries along the Ain Diab coastline to conclude the chaotic era associated with the popular “La Cote” in Morocco.

Local authorities have announced that this summer, particularly in September, will mark the beginning of the dismantling of the informal residences along the coastal strip, as well as the end for those benefiting from areas designated as state property within the sands of Ain Diab from Gate One to Gate Seventeen.

An informed source told “Express TV” that a patrol visited the area and communicated with all beneficiaries, both random occupiers and those holding temporary rental licenses, regarding the end of these outdated documents. They confirmed to the public, especially to former beneficiaries, the need to rectify the situation by the close of this summer season. From September onward, the coastal strip will witness a new reform initiative, which has resonated with entertainment venues, cafés, and upscale restaurants that will not escape the impending demolition and renovation, aimed at offering citizens priority in benefiting from their coastline for free. This move is part of the urban reforms being undertaken in Morocco, particularly in cities preparing for the 2030 World Cup.
