Abdel Latif Wahbi: “We Must Modernize the Judiciary Professions to Keep Up with the Development of Artificial Intelligence”

Abdel Latif Wahbi, the Minister of Justice, stated today in Rabat that the Moroccan judiciary system is facing challenges that necessitate a reevaluation of the operational models of legal professions. This statement followed the minister’s speech during the opening session of the eleventh convention of legal experts in Mediterranean countries.

In his address, the minister questioned how judicial actors are keeping pace with the digital dynamics and how this can positively influence the relationship between the judiciary and citizens.

Furthermore, the Minister of Justice announced that Morocco is engaged in a significant legal and judicial battle to develop this domain, especially with the upcoming 2030 World Cup, which will undoubtedly attract international judicial stakeholders.

It is worth noting that this eleventh convention of legal experts in Mediterranean countries will focus on discussing the role of legal professionals in adopting alternative means for resolving disputes.
