A woman was arrested with over 4 kilograms of cocaine at the Bab Sebta border crossing.
On the evening of Tuesday, July 29, elements of the national security, in coordination with customs services, detained a 44-year-old woman at the Bab Sebta crossing on suspicion of being involved in an international cocaine smuggling attempt.
The individual arrived at the border crossing in a vehicle registered abroad, and the inspection process revealed 4.77 kilograms of cocaine in her possession.
The arrested woman has been subjected to a judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office to uncover all circumstances and details related to this case, as well as to track the potential extensions of this criminal activity both inside and outside Morocco.
This operation is part of ongoing security efforts by the national security services to combat international drug and psychoactive substance trafficking networks and to enhance control over border crossings.
